Derp. Just realized what this game was; I’ve seen a promo image for it before. Just watched the trailer though, and I’d never have known you can play a woman if you hadn’t posted screencaps. So is it fun? :3
I’m having a lot of fun so far, the game play is very hack and slash (or bow and slash or magic and slash) It’s kind of making me think of Skyrim-light, like it’s a wide open world but the combat is more flashy and out-there, there are lots of crafting options and a few unlocking minigames. The protagonist isn’t voiced but everyone else is, the character customisation isn’t really deep but I’m happy with my main Ishal (the men are all Big McLargeHuge though). The art style reminds me of WoW only done ‘right’ in my opinion, it’s cartoon-y and colourful but things don’t clash as much and everything fits together quite nicely.
I really like the class system so far where it lets you multi-class in a very simple and effective way. Currently playing a rogue/mage. So far I’ve only seen one odd female outfit for a character that looks like she’ll be a Plot NPC who seemed to be wearing nothing but belts and boots, thankfully all the armour for my character has been pretty much the same as what the male characters are wearing. (and I like the run animation, no spine problems like poor Fem!Hawke)
