Caption: The worst part of Anders part in the destruction of Kirkwall Chantry was killing the Grand Cleric, as she was the most rational person in the whole game! But, I also like to believe that destroying the Chantry was more Justice then it was Anders… because I don’t *really* know how else anyone could justify killing innocents. It should not have been a means to an end - it was just unacceptable. I like to imagine that Anders by this point has lost control.

Elthena? Ms “Oh I know people are being tortured, abused and locked up because they might possibly do something bad one day even though they haven’t done anything yet from the day they are children. That all makes me very sad and I will pray for them. Am I actually going to do anything as the head of the Chantry and Meredith’s direct superior? LOL NO! They can keep on suffering and dying, I ain’t doing jack-shit to change it except praying to a God my own scripture tells me isn’t actually listening any more. Surely The Maker will step in and make everything puppies and rainbows without me actually having to do anything.”

The Grand Cleric can at best be described as incompetent. Just because she doesn’t want to address the authority her position gives her doesn’t absolve her of responsibility or make her innocent.
Someone who sits with their fingers in their ears while insisting their god will sort things out is not a rational person. Elthena’s inaction in the face of abuse and the death of innocents happening under her watch is unacceptable.
