My first love. She is so awesome that she… just… I have no words for how awesome she is.
So many conversations of how a tough woman can be in Sci Fi always bring me back to Ripley and Leia. For Ripley, all those things above, and yet the films did well as far as I know. If that’s not proof positive that it really is OK to have a strong female lead without alienating (no pun intended) an audience, what is?
